Key Responsibilities:
- Visual & Dimensional Inspection: Utilize predetermined methods to visually inspect in-process and completed composite products, such as electronic units, electromechanical assemblies, and mechanical subassemblies, for structural flaws, internal defects, and missing components.
- Inspect Composite Assemblies: Review blueprints, CATIA models, diagrams, quality control specifications, and inspection checklists to dimensionally inspect composite parts, panels, spars, and assemblies.
- Non-Conformance Reporting: Identify and document any non-conforming materials, hardware, tools, parts, assemblies, or software in accordance with established processes and procedures.

- Process Control: Monitor and verify product quality using statistical process control or other control procedures.

- Cross-Training: Support continuous product flow by cross-training in assembly technician functions and assisting other team members as needed.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years in quality inspection, preferably in aerospace or composite manufacturing.
- Familiarity with inspecting composite panels, assemblies, and subassemblies for structural integrity and compliance.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and CATIA models.
- Experience using inspection tools such as micrometers, dial indicators, and other precision measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods during inspection tasks.
