Key Responsibilities of the RN - CVICU
- Titration of Vesicant Meds
- Familiarity with Pressors, Sedation, and Paralytics
- Experience with Vents, Trachs, and telemetry interpretation
- Understanding of Hemodynamics and PA Catheter set up and interpretation
- Execute procedures such as Cardioversion, EGD, Bronchoscopy, and Central line insertion
Requirements of the RN - CVICU
- Experience in ICU settings
- Familiarity with advanced cardiac life support procedures
- CCRN recommended
