Now hiring a beverage manager for a growing restaurant group.

An Asheville based restaurant group, with a diverse portfolio rooted in sincere hospitality and crafted beverages is looking for a highly organized and positive individual to orchestrate a team in providing an unforgettable experience.

Experience with crafted beverages, draft/batched cocktails, and tiki drinks, along with a strong knowledge of beer and wine is required. Candidates must be comfortable and efficient at running several bar programs simultaneously, maintaining a high standard of craft and service while upholding all governmental regulations and requirements. A knowledge of current industry trends and experience in working with liquor reps and brand ambassadors is required. A strong understanding of costing, inventory management and overall financials is core to job performance.

Experience with catering and packaged beverages are desired for the applicant.

Job duties include:

• Manages and upholds identity of each operation through its beverage program
• Identifies trends and manages implementation for each program
• Curates product list in the categories of Wine, Beer, NA, and Spirits.
• Manages cocktail lists with an understanding of craft, draft, and tiki beverages
• Maintains beverage staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
• Develops personal growth opportunities for beverage team.
• Accomplishes staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
• Coaches, counsels, and disciplines employees.
• Ensures a safe, secure, and legal work environment.
• Develops, coordinates, and enforces systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
• Develops and maintains all SOPs for beverage protocol, operations, and standards.
• Manages inventory/ordering and proper storage of all beverage products
• Establishes strategic goals by gathering pertinent business, financial, service, and operations information.
• Manages beverage budgets, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
• Supervises live operations as lead as needed.

Requirements:

• Reliable transportation
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Servsafe Manager
• Rasp Training (available for free on ABC NC website)
• Three years’ experience in bar management
• Proficiency in technology including but not limited to:

o POS

o Adobe

o Inventory App

o Quick Books Online

o Office/google

o Apple products

o Resy

o Wix

Salary is based on experience with quarterly and annual bonuses.

Starting Pay: $38,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year plus quarterly profit share / bonus
