Schedule: Full-time Monday – Friday day shift, with part-time opportunities available; includes on-call rotation with Nurse Practitioners and weekend call coverage

Highlights:

• Lead medical direction for a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE), focused on community-based care for seniors with chronic needs
• Oversee Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) programs and clinical outcomes
• Provide direct patient care including history and physicals, treatment planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Supervise Primary Care Providers (PCPs) and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
• Develop and maintain medical policies, procedures, and treatment protocols
• Participate in intake assessments and family conferences to support patient-centered care planning

Requirements:

• Active North Carolina medical license
• Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (required); Geriatrics certification preferred
• Valid DEA and Controlled Substance Registration (CDS)
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with frail or elderly populations (no new graduates)
• Previous supervisory experience required
• Self-Query NPDB report required at time of presentation (within 30 days)
• Must be interested in locums assignments; visa sponsorship not available
