Immediate HIRE – Commissioned Designer/Sales Rep for the WNC and some Upstate SC. Possible to Start Part -time
You must be located within our geographic area to visit clients in person in their homes for design consultations. Are you a Hunter? DO YOU HAVE Closet Design Experience? or other Cabinet design experience?

Previous work in cabinets/closets or organization is a plus. Commission Position.
Some Benefits provided if full time after 30 days some after 6 months. Can Start part time minimum 25 hours work into FT as the work flow increases. Strong marketing support will increase after training to handle the work load proficiently. Some leads given, others self generated with guidance using a proven strategy for business development.Click for Requirements
1. *MINIMUM OF 2-3 YEARS of Sales or Design or Estimating EXPERIENCE REQUIRED* 3+ years preferred.
MUST BE ABLE TO MEASURE 100% accurately*
2. 1-2 Years cabinet Design Experience and mos. +CAD software, at least ability to learn it quickly.
3. STRONG professional communication skills and knowledge of WORD, EXCEL, ADOBE and email attachments and scanning. (i.e Must be Computer Savvy)
4. Love People and be able to connect with people – strong LISTENING skills.
5. Strong organizational skills and extremely high-level attention to detail. Tenacity to get all designs done with urgency.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong phone follow up (no hesitation or procrastination) Must create and send customer proposals within a timely manner
7. Portfolio of successful, completed projects or similar work.
8. Ability to respectfully communicate and work effectively in a team environment with both administrative, field personnel and customers.
9. Willingness to learn new project management/estimating practices and workflow.
10. Self-motivated, strong work ethic to succeed and get results. Works well and diligently alone.
11. Professional clean cut in appearance and demeanor and willingness to embrace The Garage Authority culture and live out our Core Values.
12. Represent the interest of the Garage Authority by monitoring progress and timely follow through, adhering to safety regulations, making sure quotes/proposals and special-order items are placed and completed on time. Provide details for installers and Office Manager.
13. Reviewing/documenting figured financial targets for profitability. Weekly activity reporting and be teachable. Have a Positive, growth mindset!
