Compensation

• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2,360 - $2,420

PICU RN Job Details – Albany, NY Healthcare Opportunity

• Location: Albany, NY 12208 (New York healthcare jobs)
• Facility Setting: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
• Assignment Type: Locum tenens / travel nursing contract
• Start Date: August 25, 2025
• End Date: October 16, 2025
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs required
• EMR System: Epic

PICU Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State or compact eligible
• Minimum 1 year of recent PICU nursing experience
• CVICU (Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit) experience required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR system
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Strong professionalism, adaptability, and teamwork skills

PICU RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatments
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and clinical interventions as prescribed
• Educate and support patients' families throughout the care process
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, clinical procedures, and safety standards
