About the Role
The Substance Abuse Counselor is part of a Community Support Team (CST) that consists of a Therapist and Qualified Professionals. The role of the Substance Abuse Counselor is to provide counsel and support to clients suffering from drug or alcohol dependency and educate families in the best ways to help in the recovery process.
- As a member of our Community Support Team, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive substance abuse assessments that describes the relationship between the member's mental health and substance use. You will serve as a consultant and educator to fellow CST team members regarding integrated dual disorder treatment.
- Assist in the development of natural support networks
- Individual and group supportive counseling
- Monitor symptoms and medications and link the individual to the appropriate services, agencies and supports in the community
- Write, implement, evaluate, and revise client's person-centered plan and overall treatment goals

Compensation
This role is compensated on a salaried basis, providing consistent earnings aligned with the responsibilities and expectations of the position.
- Compensation: $52,083 - $71,289
Placement within the range is based on licensure level, education, and experience.

Responsibilities
- Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy sessions
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with care teams as needed
- Maintain compliance with all clinical and regulatory standards
- Participate in supervision (if applicable based on licensure level)
Qualifications
- Master's Degree, QP Status with either an LCAS or LCAS-A (Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist)
- Active Driver's License
