- Welcomes patients professionally and courteously, assisting in their preparation for eye examinations.
- Assists optometrist with tests and procedures, ensuring accurate diagnosis and treatment.
- Attends to patient needs and inquiries with patience and courtesy.
- Manages patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Conducts appointment scheduling and maintains the point of sale system accurately.
- Ensures a safe and organized working environment.
- Provides guidance to patients on contact lens care.
- Maintains equipment and inventory as needed.
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Minimum of one year of strong customer service skills.
- Leadership skills.
- Strong communicator and listener.
- Problem-solving ability.
- Organization skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to assess priorities, address multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
