Manager, Weight and Inspections - Hybrid
What you’ll need to succeed as a Manager of Weight and Inspections at XPO
Minimum qualifications:
- 4 years of weights and inspection experience
- Available to travel up to 50% of the time and to work a flexible schedule, including planned and unplanned overtime, varying shifts and weekends
- Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 4–7 years of experience in freight audit, logistics, or transportation
- 2+ years of supervisory experience preferred
- Familiarity with dimensioning tools and forklift scale maintenance
- Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills
- NMFC training preferred

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Lead and develop regional W&I teams to deliver audit accuracy and operational excellence
- Drive freight classification strategy aligned with revenue goals and NMFC standards
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, and Compliance to reduce exceptions and improve classification accuracy
- Own onboarding, training, and performance reporting for W&I staff
- Ensure tool functionality and certification for dimensioning devices and forklift scales
- Promote a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement
