We are seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join our team! The ideal candidate will ensure our products and services comply with customer and regulatory requirements before they reach the customer.

Responsibilities:

• Create quality plans, control plans, work instructions and workmanship standards to guide manufacturing processes
• Ensure timely delivery of PPAP packages, including PFMEA documentation, for new product launches
• Lead projects and assist in developing new processes and procedures aligned with customer requirements
• Write investigation reports/CAPA and ensure internal and supplier quality corrective actions (8D's) meet required timing and format
• Participate in internal audits (ISO 9001) and support external audits as needed
• Develop Measurement System Analysis (MSA) plans and apply statistical tools for process capability and calibration
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and control of raw materials to prevent contamination or mix-ups
• Participate in qualification activities, including first article inspections and approval processes
• Conduct or oversee dimensional inspections of parts using tools like CMMs, optical comparators, or calipers
• Develop and implement visual inspection criteria for parts, including defect identification and classification
• Participate in APQP activities for new product introductions
• Oversee calibration of quality inspection equipment to ensure measurement accuracy.
• Apply risk management techniques (like FMEA) to identify and mitigate quality risks

​​ Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED; 3-5 years of quality experience preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and quality improvement
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with quality control tools like calipers, micrometers and CMM
• Keen eye for detail and results-driven approach
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100 experience a plus
