Manager customer strategy product delivery

Red Hat
Raleigh, NC

Job Summary

Red Hat’s Intelligent Experience Delivery team is looking for a Manager to lead the evolution of our customer-facing digital products. In this role, you will move beyond traditional project execution to lead a team of Product Managers and Delivery Leads focused on integrating Artificial Intelligence into high-priority customer experiences.

As part of a global team, you will not just manage associates, but drive the strategy for how we deliver value in a technological, fast-paced environment. You will bridge the gap between technical AI capabilities and user-centric product management to solve complex problems effectively.

At Red Hat, our commitment to open source innovation extends beyond our products - it’s embedded in how we work and grow. Red Hatters embrace change – especially in our fast-moving technological landscape – and have a strong growth mindset. That's why we encourage our teams to proactively, thoughtfully, and ethically use AI to simplify their workflows, cut complexity, and boost efficiency. This empowers our associates to focus on higher-impact work, creating smart, more innovative solutions that solve our customers' most pressing challenges.

What you will do:

  • Strategic Team Leadership: Lead and scale a high-performing team of product and delivery professionals working on AI-driven engagements critical to Red Hat customer digital experiences.

  • Product & Delivery Oversight: Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation through delivery, ensuring AI initiatives align with strategic goals and OKRs.

  • Talent Development: Cultivate a culture of continuous learning, specifically mentoring team members on product thinking, AI fluency, and outcome-based delivery.

  • Resource & Portfolio Management: Define strategic priorities and assign product roles based on departmental initiatives, balancing innovation with delivery velocity.

  • Stakeholder Alignment: Foster productive collaboration between data science/engineering teams and business stakeholders to ensure AI solutions solve real user problems.

  • Operational Excellence: Modernize delivery workflows by moving beyond basic assignment to implementing agile, product-led operating models suitable for AI experimentation and deployment.

What you will bring:

  • Leadership Experience: Minimum of 3 years of progressive management experience or significant IC leadership, with a specific track record of building and motivating high-performing product or technical teams.

  • AI & Product Fluency: Demonstrated ability to apply product management principles (roadmap definition, user research) within an AI/ML context.

  • Delivery Mastery: Deep familiarity with agile practices, CI/CD, and the specific nuances of delivering AI models (iterative testing, model governance).

  • Cross-Functional Navigation: Experience building and working in matrixed teams across engineering, design, and data science organizations.

  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical AI concepts for non-technical leadership.

  • Tooling: Proficiency with modern product and delivery tools (Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow) and familiarity with AI development platforms.

  • Mindset: A strong desire to work in an open organization, championing transparency and inclusivity.
