Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.)

Shift Hours: 7:00pm - 7:00am

Location/Division Specific Information:

As part of the Pharma Services Group (PSG), the High Point, NC site focuses on gelatin based drug delivery dosage forms (softgels). We offer extensive development and commercial scale capabilities for a variety of softgels technologies.

How Will You Make an Impact?

The Printer II will be responsible for polishing, sizing, weighing, operating and trouble-shooting the vision system, assembling/disassembling printers, and set as well as trouble shoot print on capsules.

A Day in the Life:

• Clean and set up printing equipment.
• Monitors and trouble shoot printing process and printing equipment operation by observing flow of printed product and checking for print quality errors and defects.
• Prepares filled and ready to ship box of product for shipping.
• Sets up machine, clean and prepare machine for changeover. Performs changeovers.
• May perform other reasonable, related business duties.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

• Required: Minimum of 1 year of work experience in manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related field
• Preferred: Experience in a cGMP environment

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Ability to interpret data, perform basic calculations and troubleshooting skills.
• The ability to work a 12-hour shift in a 24-hour, 7 day per week operation.
• Meet DEA security clearance requirements if requested.
• Must be able to work overtime as necessary.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

• Must be able to frequently lift/push/pull/carry up to 50 pounds
• Close and color vision is required
• Repetitive motions over a prolonged period including overhead lifting and reaching
