Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist (Contract-to-Hire)

Location: Charlotte, NC

Pay: $24-$25 per hour

Job Description:

Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis. In this role, you will be responsible for managing daily AP activities, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments, and reconciling accounts. This position is based in Charlotte, NC, and requires a strong background in accounts payable processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable transactions through ERP system, ensuring accurate 3-way matching
• Prepare and process cash disbursements
• Reconcile AP and bank accounts on a monthly basis
• Record and track P-card and T&E card transactions
• Address payment-related inquiries with vendors
• Organize and maintain both physical and electronic documentation

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of accounts payable experience
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle is a plus)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good communication skills, especially in a multicultural team environment

Additional Details:

• Team size: 3 (you will be the 4th member)
