Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $15.95 - $19.00 / hour*
What you'll be doing as a Office Administrator:
Operations
- Oversee daily office operations, ensuring a clean, efficient, and well-functioning workspace
- Manage office and pantry supplies, inventory, equipment, and purchasing
- Coordinate mail, shipping, deliveries, and document handling
- Manage visitor check-in, conference room scheduling, and general office communication
- Facilities & Vendor Management
- Serve as primary liaison with the landlord, building management, security, and maintenance teams
- Coordinate office repairs, facility upgrades, workspace setup, and safety compliance
- Manage all recurring vendors and service providers (cleaning, supplies, equipment repair, etc.)
- Maintain seating charts and support office layout planning
- Employee Experience & Culture Support
- Create a warm, welcoming office environment for employees, partners, and guests
- Support onboarding logistics, including workspace setup, equipment distribution, and office orientation
- Plan and execute office events, celebrations, and team-building activities
- Coordinate with HR for employee communications and site-specific engagement initiatives
- Finance & Reporting
- Manage office budget, vendor invoices, and expense reporting
- Track office expenditures and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Maintain procurement records, contracts, and facility documentation
- Prepare and deposit checks to the company's online bank accounts on a timely basis, following established finance and security procedures
- Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with North Carolina workplace safety requirements
- Partner with and support the Warehouse Manager in maintaining safety and emergency protocols
- Miscellaneous
- Small parcel packing and shipping as needed
- Company vehicle maintenance schedules
- Other tasks as requested
Available shifts:
Shift timings - 1st Shift (Day) and Weekends
Job requirements:
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
- At least 2 years of office management, administrative, or facilities coordination experience
- Strong organization, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
- Experience in a small-to-mid-sized or fast-growing company, familiarity with facilities operations or vendor management, and event planning experience are preferred
- Ability and willingness to work onsite
- Background Check Required
