Part-Time Optometrist for Veteran Compensation and Pension Exams
Job Summary:
We are seeking a part-time licensed optometrist to join our team and conduct compensation and pension exams for veterans in our clinic. As an optometrist, you will be responsible for conducting a comprehensive eye and vision evaluation for each veteran, including a review of medical records. You will then report findings via a Disability Benefit Questionnaire
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive eye and vision evaluations for veterans
Review medical records to assess conditions and related impairments
Compete DBQs and Independent Medical Records as instructed
Qualifications:
Doctorate in Optometry degree from an accredited university
Active and unrestricted license to practice optometry
Experience conducting veteran compensation and pension exams is preferred
Excellent clinical and assessment skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compensation and Benefits:
