Project Manager

Job Title: Project ManagerJob Description A leading pharmaceutical organization is seeking a Project Manager to coordinate an exciting greenfield project, focusing on expanding current facilities locally. Responsibilities + Lead multi-disciplined project teams to complete projects on time and within budget, while meeting all quality, cost, schedule, and scope requirements. + Execute projects by developing project goals and business objectives, finalizing scope and budget, creating project plans, and negotiating staffing with the Line of Business. + Monitor and control project work, manage project data, report performance, and seek approvals from the project owner. + Manage project procurement, delivery/installation, commissioning, qualification, change control, and project team activities. + Ensure all facets of the program lifecycle align with the expectations set forth by the project owner. + Monitor and report project progress. + Consider project staffing plans needed to support projects and assemble the project team. Manage tasks and time for external staff closely. + Maintain financial accountability for projects through purchase order creation, management, invoicing, and budget forecasting. + Align with global programs and other site projects to actively share best practices, knowledge, and visions. + Assist with any training required for personnel supporting the project. + Follow all safety and environmental requirements in the performance of duties. Essential Skills + Project management experience, ideally 8-10 years. + Experience managing a greenfield construction project from the ground up. + Pharmaceutical project management experience in an aseptic operation. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) knowledge. Work Environment The role requires on-site presence in an office building, with visits to the construction site and current facilities to meet with various project stakeholders. Normal working hours are expected, but flexibility is required as different needs arise. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Raleigh, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $90.00 - $110.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
