• Perform detailed fire safety and periodic maintenance inspections assigned.
• Verify smoke detectors are functioning properly, in date, clean, and in the correct location.
• Install products such as smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, and residential fire suppression systems.
• Educate tenants on fire safety and proper use of detectors and suppression systems/products.
• Take appropriate pictures that coincide with the inspection report.
• Complete electronic reports with pictures that detail the findings of both the fire safety inspections and smoke detector inspections, condition of the residence, and any products installed.
• Complete daily inventory counts of all products on the work truck to include pre-shift counts, products installed counts, and post shift counts.
• Ability to travel to other territories as assigned

• Knowledge of fire prevention and fire suppression.
• Basic knowledge of smoke detector types and residential fire suppression systems.
• Knowledge of electrical systems.
• Basic understanding of computers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Team player with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work with power tools on and off ladders.
• Ability to use mobile tools and applications.
• Ability to operate a Truck or Van with Valid drivers license and clear driving record.

• Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
• Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
• Requires bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, reaching.
• Requires the ability to lift, carry, push or pull medium weights, up to 75 pounds.

• 2 years supervisory experience (Preferred)
• Experience with inventory control (Preferred)
• 3-5 years of related field experience (Preferred)
• Experience working independently
