- Maintain all safety, quality, and compliance activities at each plant location.
- Perform routine maintenance and manage maintenance schedules on process equipment.
- Perform calibrations on a variety of process equipment including centrifugal, screw, and reciprocating compressors, gas analyzers, instruments/transmitters, electrical/PLC equipment, and pneumatic control valves.
- Manage own time to accomplish operations and maintenance tasks for assigned plants, which includes troubleshooting, diagnosing, and solving plant problems.
- Coordinate contractors and resources, both internal and external to UIG, to support activities, audits, and all administrative requirements for the plant.
- Maintain plant production and optimize efficiency. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.
- Responsible for managing the plant's operating budget.
- High School Diploma or GED. Associate's degree or technical school certification is preferred.
- 2+ years of operations experience in air separation plant or similar process control function, instrumentation and control, compressors or compressor maintenance. Industrial gas experience preferred.
- Knowledge of industry safety regulations and operational best practices.
- A general understanding of and experience with instrumentation, electrical, and control systems.
- Experience with tools and equipment necessary for repairing and replacing mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment.
- Experience with both mechanical and electrical instrumentation.
- Experience working independently to troubleshoot, diagnose, and solve issues with process and plant equipment.
- Understanding of General Accounting Techniques.
