Receptionist, Full-time (32 hours per week)

Job Summary

This is a full-time position. The receptionist greets and directs visitors, completes administrative tasks, and handles a high volume of both routine and complex incoming, outgoing and inter-office telephone calls. Must have the ability to multi-task under pressure with a strong focus on exceptional customer service. The schedule for this position is 32 hours per week; rotating holidays.

Responsibilities what you do:

  • Answer telephones promptly in a professional, efficient and caring manner
  • Answer caller's questions or direct calls to appropriate personnel
  • Take, relay and route messages as necessary
  • Greet and direct visitors
  • Manage the OOO Calendar and coordinate information provided
  • Manage database (Scotland Yard) with employee information
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering of office and kitchen supplies
  • Distribute mail, faxes, and deliveries and help coordinate delivery to satellite offices
  • Process appropriate death certificates and coordinate with by MDs & NPs in timely manner
  • Coordinate and process death certificate corrections
  • Maintain a positive and helpful environment
  • Maintain clean and pleasant work environment
  • Field staff questions
  • Work with heavy interruptions while handling multiple duties
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements what you need

  • High School diploma required plus one year work experience
  • May be required to sit at a computer monitor and use repetitive motion techniques for prolonged periods of time
  • Must have sensory abilities to complete communication and documentation requirements of the job
  • May be required to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Master necessary TL agency software
  • Computer literate, including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Ability to work scheduled and/or unscheduled overtime; at times with short notice
