Electrical Mechanical Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical and mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.
• Assist in the installation of new machinery and equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve system efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Participate in training programs to stay updated on industry trends and technologies.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Technology or 5 years in related field.

• Proven experience as an Electrical Mechanical Technician or similar role.

• Strong understanding of electrical systems single and 3 phase systems, circuits, and mechanical components.

• Ability to work with voltages AC -24, 120, 208, 240, 277, 480 and DC -12, 24, 630

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

• PLC Knowledge and troubleshooting CTI, Siemens and Allen Bardley

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.

• Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency calls as needed.

• Push, pull, lift up to 50 lbs.

• Climb a 6 ft ladder.

• Operate a forklift and obtain a Forklift license.
