Production Supervisor

Role Overview

• We are seeking a Production Area Leader / Value Stream Leader to drive operational excellence across their area of responsibility.
• This role is accountable for delivering KPI performance, business strategy, and people strategy, while leading Team Leaders and driving a strong culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a strong floor presence, technical understanding, and the ability to coach, influence, and execute in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver KPI targets aligned with business and people strategy.Ensure standardization across policies, procedures, and standard work.
• Lead and coach Team Leaders, setting and reinforcing cultural standards.
• Maintain a strong physical presence on the production floor to address safety, quality, delivery, and productivity issues.Execute leadership standard work, audits, and checklists.
• Drive effective communication, escalation, and alignment across teams and functions.Review production priorities and ensure strong execution of startup and PVD board meetings.
• Ensure TPM, autonomous maintenance, and preventive maintenance are completed.Gather, analyze, and validate production and LTA data across the value stream.
• Manage employee performance, attendance, training hours, and development plans.
• Plan workforce schedules, overtime, vacations, LOAs, and holidays.
• Expedite production, prototype, and PPAP components as required.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including Kaizen events, 5-Why, and Practical Problem-Solving.
• Ensure process control documentation is correctly utilized and maintained.
• Troubleshoot equipment and processes within trained skillsets and policies.
• Support corrective actions related to internal issues and customer complaints.
• Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, environmental, health, and safety standards.
• Create and maintain a strategic master plan to successfully deliver KPI results.

Qualitifications & Skills Required:

• 2–5 years of manufacturing experience in assembly or machining environments.
• Experience working in ISO 14001, OSHA 18001, and IATF 16949 environments.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Operations, Engineering.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and timekeeping systems.
• Strong analytical, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
