Crew Leader

Job Summary:

PureGreen is looking for an experienced and motivated Crew Leader to manage our commercial landscape maintenance crew. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of the principles of horticulture and experience leading teams of maintenance workers to provide quality services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the landscape maintenance crew, including scheduling, routing, and managing the workflow.
• Manage the quality of work performed by the crew and ensure that it meets PureGreen standards and customer expectations.
• Ensure that all crew members are properly trained, equipped, and adhere to safety standards.
• Monitor inventory levels of materials, equipment, and supplies and coordinate with the operations manager to ensure that they are adequately stocked.
• Conduct regular inspections of properties and ensure that all work is completed on schedule and of the highest quality.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and be responsive to their needs and requests.
• Communicate effectively with other members of the PureGreen team, including sales and management personnel.
• Identify opportunities for additional services and communicate these to the sales team.

Experience and Skills:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial landscaping or a similar field with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
• Knowledge of horticultural practices, including plant identification, pruning, fertilization, and pest control.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team to work safely, efficiently, and effectively.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.

Physical Demands:

• You must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for long periods.
• Must be able to perform physical labor, including bending, kneeling, and reaching.
