TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Wilmington, North Carolina, 28401!
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current nursing license required Certifications: BLS, CPI preferred Must-Have: EPIC experience required. Must be able to take insulin and heparin drips. Description: RTO after booking is not allowed. Additional RTO during the contract may result in a cancelation. Must be able to work holidays. Vulnerability to taking care of COVID patients may occur. Traveler will be assigned to an Inclement Weather Team. Traveler experience is acceptable, including first-time travelers. Local candidates are accepted. Charge nurse role is required for night travelers. Target patient ratios are 1:6-7. 36 or 48 hours are accepted. Call may be required if put on a prescheduled shift. Floating to similar units and alternate care locations may be required. Travelers will be assigned to every other weekend. Patients include adults and geriatrics with general medical/surgical needs. Daily patient census is approximately 43. Special procedures include managing insulin drips, heparin drips, wound vac dressing changes, and high-flow oxygen. Staffing includes interdisciplinary support. Appropriate for all medical/surgical nurses. No PCU level patients are present on this unit. All testing must be completed within 48 hours of signing.
