Lead Project Program Manager IT
JOB RESPONSIBLITIES
- The work involves continuous alignment on scope, priorities, issue resolution, and cross functional decision making that occurs primarily within U.S. time zones. Given the scale and strategic importance of the OnHighway and Full Fleet initiatives, timely engagement with these teams is critical to maintaining program velocity and reducing decision latency.
- Accountable for ensuring successful completion of projects, on-time, within budget; responsible for planning and execution of various project deliverables, communications, metrics, reporting, and the overall program plan (identifying and driving program dependencies to resolution)
- This Program Manager role requires daily, real time collaboration with U.S.-based team across Product, Engineering, Operations, and business leadership
Requirements
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years experience in this capacity.
- Master’s degree with 8+ years experience in this capacity.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Background in Software development is highly desirable
- Certification or knowledge of AWS is highly desirable
- Exposure to data design, data extraction, and big data transformation projects is highly desirable
- Working knowledge of JIRA and Azure DevOps (formerly VSTS), Confluence
- Advance knowledge of Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Project
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Change Management Certification preferred
- Six Sigma Black Belt Certification desirable
- Knowledge of Power BI is highly desirable
- PMP certification preferred
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) preferred
- Managing technical/Software projects, may include project charters, scheduling and planning projects and successful completion;
- Guide/manage technical or project management staff
- Resolve issues, dependencies, and risks;
- Lead and influence others to deliver on project commitments
- Utilize agile training or extensive experience with sprint planning, daily scrums, to support and challenge development planning
- Lead and participate in multiple meetings
- Prepare and analyze status reports and meeting presentation material
