Summer Intern, Cloud Infrastructure and Automation
- Assist in cloud architecture design and contribute to discussions on infrastructure strategy.
- Support the development of automation pipelines, gaining an understanding of how they integrate with cloud environments.
- Learn and apply Terraform for infrastructure as code, with exposure to scripting.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to maintain strong relationships and ensure project success.
- Gain familiarity with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud) and assist in managing and creating cloud resources.
- Help monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to cloud environments, infrastructure, and application performance.
- Learn and apply cloud management tools, version control systems (e.g., Git), and ticketing platforms (e.g., JIRA, ServiceNow).
- Contribute to technical documentation and reporting for cloud projects and software solutions.
- Stay current with cloud technologies, security practices, and industry trends through self-paced training and team learning sessions.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Foundational knowledge of cloud computing concepts and platforms (AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud).
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript).
- Familiarity with cloud management tools, infrastructure monitoring, and ticketing systems.
- Proven analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Above-average organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task, adapt to ambiguity, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on cloud technologies and best practices.
- Pay for this position with be $25/hour
- Interns will be located in our Cary, NC office on a hybrid schedule. The intern must live within commutable distance to the office and provide own housing. A housing stipend or relocation assistance will not be offered.
- The duration of our program is10 weeks, beginning on Wednesday, May 27, 2026
- Candidates must be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate course of study and be rising senior (senior commencing Fall 2026) with a minimum GPA of3.3 and be eligible to work in the US.
