Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

Now hiring qualified Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW) for Correctional Therapist/Counselor openings in North Carolina!

Multiple locations statewide.

Pay:

• $2,280-$2,326/week working 40 hours.
• Weekly direct deposit every Friday.
• Benefits Available: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 K.

Schedule and Timeline:

• Now interviewing for upcoming start dates.
• 13-26 week direct contract with a high potential to extend.
• 40 hours per week.
• 8 and 10-hour shifts available.

Corrections Therapists/Counselors (LCSW) Details:

• Provide a wide range of psychosocial assessments and preliminary diagnostic impressions, counseling therapy, crisis intervention, and/or case management services to patients in a correctional facility as part of an established multidisciplinary treatment team and behavioral health program.
• Collect supporting information about patients through interviews, case history, psychological tests, and/or observational techniques.
• Evaluate data to identify causes of problems and determine the proper therapeutic approach or referral to other specialists.
• Provide crisis management counseling and/or short-term therapy to patients as appropriate.
• Prepare treatment and follow-up care programs.
• Provide therapeutic crisis intervention and emergency services as required.
• Demonstrate knowledge of DSM-5 criteria and appropriate interventions for each entity.
• Consult with other behavioral health practitioners and related staff, as appropriate, in the performance of therapeutic and/or casework.

Corrections Therapists/Counselors (LCSW) Qualifications:

• M.A., Ed.S., M.S.Ed., Ph.D., Ed.D., or Psy.D. in Social Work or Psychology.
• NC LCSW License.
• Previous clinical experience in a mental healthcare setting.
• Clean background check upon hire.
