Print Production Specialist

Description

Responsible for producing high-quality graphics, which includes tasks like preparing art files, operating machinery for printing and cutting, applying vinyl, and assembling finished products. This role involves hands-on work such as tailoring, sewing, and the final assembly of various graphic projects, often requiring careful measurement and a strong attention to detail to meet production specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Art preparation: Ensuring that printed art files match the final, production-ready files.
• Production and assembly: Taking a comprehensive understanding of the project before starting work, and assembling final products accurately.
• Material manipulation: Performing tasks like pressing fabric, applying vinyl to surfaces, and making accurate cuts of materials.
• Finishing and packing: Applying laminates, and disassembling and packing completed graphic builds and stands efficiently.
• Quality control: Performing final checks on products to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
• Workspace management: Keeping the production area clean, organized, and well-maintained, with all tools and parts accounted for.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Technical skills: Proficiency in operating machinery for printing, cutting, and laminating.
• Manual dexterity: Ability to sew, apply vinyl cleanly, and assemble products with precision.
• Analytical skills: Ability to perform measurements and calculations to ensure correct sizing and material usage.
• Attention to detail: A strong focus on quality and accuracy throughout all stages of production.
• Physical stamina: This role involves frequently lifting and carrying materials, often in a loud environment with potential exposure to hazards like dust and heat.

This is a Contract position based out of Greensboro, NC.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Greensboro,NC.
