Job Opportunity – Infectious Disease Physician – North Carolina
Start Date: September 14, 2026
Location: North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Inpatient coverage rotating between two hospital facilities; approximately 20 patients per day (varies); adult patient population
Highlights:
- 52-week contract (approximately 1 year)
- Float between two hospital locations with varying support models
- EPIC EMR system in place
- Focus on complex infection management including sepsis, osteomyelitis, and endocarditis
- Inpatient consultative role with rounding and ID consult responsibilities
- Overtime and holiday pay at 1.5x normal rate
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Infectious Disease
- Active North Carolina state license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Current DEA registration
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Infectious Disease training and experience required
- EPIC charting system experience preferred
