Industrial Maintenance Technician
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team in Clayton, NC, In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility by performing maintenance and repairs on a variety of industrial equipment. Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Perform repairs and replacements of faulty components as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational processes.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in industrial maintenance preferred.
- Proven experience as an industrial maintenance technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and on-call shifts as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
