Registered Nurse Job Details

• End Date: October 28, 2025
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2470–$2540
• Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs
• EMR System: Epic

RN Qualifications & Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State or willingness to obtain prior to start
• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Epic EMR experience required
• National Certification Corporation (NCC) or Intermediate AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification (issued within past 3 years; proof of class registration accepted at submission; certification required for compliance)
• BLS certification (AHA)
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Strong professionalism and commitment to patient-centered care

Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns in the L&D unit
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being, including electronic fetal monitoring
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members
• Administer medications and assist with labor interventions as needed
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care
• Accurately document all care provided in the Epic EMR system
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive clinical environment
