Position Summary:
Absolute Dental Services is seeking a meticulous and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. This role entails processing daily financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy and efficiency in invoice processing and expense reconciliation, providing vital financial and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Transactions: Verify, classify, and record accounts payable data accurately and promptly.
• Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts payable ledger to ensure completeness and accuracy of billings and payments.
• Discrepancy Investigation: Investigate and resolve discrepancies by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly statements.
• Expense Management: Allocate expenses correctly to respective cost centers and accounts.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to accounts payable procedures, including handling W-9 forms, sales tax, and regulatory requirements.
• Administrative Support: Assist in managing incoming mail for the Finance department, matching packing slips to invoices and vendor statements.
