Hourly Clean-up Production

JBS, Lenoir is hiring for quality, motivated people to join the JBS sanitation team as general laborers. The position cleans and sanitizes all production lines each night:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• To clean and sanitize machinery and floors in a production line setting
• Responsible for all basic cleaning in and around assigned area
• Set up, stocks, and maintains cleaning equipment and supplies
• Monitor and maintains sanitation and organization of assigned areas
• Operate heavy equipment
• Expect to work hands on at high speed and times to life over 50 pounds
• Stay aware of your surroundings and notify a supervisor if you recognize a hazard
• Perform other duties as needed or as assigned

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs repeatedly
• Ability to stoop and bend at the waist repeatedly
• Must use proper personal protective equipment effectively

Work Environment

• Must be able to work in a very cold, damp environment
• Production and maintenance settings
• Exposure to various chemicals, machinery, and knives
• Slippery floors, cold temperatures, and loud ambient noise
