We are looking for a detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper (25 hours per week) to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this role, you will manage various financial tasks to ensure accurate and timely record-keeping. This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate financial records by managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Reconcile bank accounts and ensure all transactions are properly documented.
• Prepare and assist with month-end close procedures, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Utilize QuickBooks to manage financial data and generate reports as needed.
• Develop and update standard operating procedures for bookkeeping tasks.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in financial workflows and implement changes.
• Monitor financial transactions for accuracy and address any discrepancies.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and other relevant documentation as required.
• Support account reconciliation efforts to ensure compliance with company policies.
• Proven experience in bookkeeping, with a strong understanding of accounting principles.• Proficiency in QuickBooks and other relevant accounting software.
• Knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Experience with bank reconciliations and account reconciliation tasks.
• Familiarity with month-end close procedures and financial reporting.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to identify and implement process improvements.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
