I opened my agency in 2017, and today Im fortunate to lead a team of five. Ive been with State Farm since 2010, working in corporate, in leadership roles, and as an aspirant before opening my own agency. Im a college graduate, married with two wonderful kids, and our family includes a horse and two dogs who keep life interesting. Community involvement is important to me. I support organizations such as the Wake County Nurse Family Partnership, Communities in Schools, and the New Location Racehorse Adoption Program. Team members enjoy several perks, including a closed lunch hour each day, early closures at 3 p.m. on Fridays, a Simple IRA, and health benefits. Our office has a calming, home-like atmospherefeaturing artwork from a local female artist, a fully stocked fridge, free snacks and coffee, monthly team lunches, planned breakfast gatherings, and regular team-building events. During the holidays, we participate in Angel Gifts for Children to give back to families in need. Responsibilities:
- Communicate with customers to understand their needs and provide available product information.
- Assist in developing relationships with new and existing customers across multiple product lines.
- Support daily office operations, including documentation, scheduling, and follow-up activities.
- Participate in marketing efforts to promote awareness within the community.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure a consistent customer experience.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve office objectives.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in customer service, business support, or insurance preferred.
- Must possess or be able to obtain necessary state insurance licenses.
