As a **Security Officer - Armed Government Facility** in **Laurinburg, NC** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities. **What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
+ Monitor access points and verify the identification of individuals entering and exiting the premises as required by site protocols.
+ Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.
+ Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as directed during incidents or emergencies.
+ Remain alert and attentive to surroundings in order to identify and address security-related issues promptly.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Be at least 21 years of age.
+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
+ A valid firearms permit is preferred.
+ An armed guard card or license is preferred.
+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
