Job Title: Respiratory Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, treating, and caring for patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders. This role requires a compassionate individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients' respiratory conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments, including oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, and mechanical ventilation.
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and their families on respiratory health and proper use of equipment.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid state license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist.
- Certification by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred.
- Strong knowledge of respiratory therapy techniques and equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
