Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.Role Purpose
Supports the PLM Process Excellence Manager by aiding users in operation of existing systems, performing quick key transformations for small teams, and analyzing business processes to find room for improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as user support for new PLM processes and process improvements
- Support solutions leveraging tools and data available. Develop job aids for key PLM tools (SAP, Windchill, Databricks, Power Platform)
- Act as administrator of PLM systems (PLM Power BI App, PLM Forms, PLM SharePoint sites) to ensure they function properly, and proper access is maintained.
- Support Senior Director of Product Strategy and Process Excellence Manager in planning and execution of PLM trainings (Bootcamps, PLM FUNdamentals, etc.)
- Support PLM Organization with analysis as necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, analytics, computer science, information systems, or related fields
- Experience with data analysis and automation tools (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, Databricks, etc.)
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional partner s
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Data Management Organization, Product Line Management, or Data and Analytics teams
- Familiarity with Process Excellence (PEx) tools

The range for this position is $62,390.00 - $85,787.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
