A Registered Nurse (RN) in Long-Term Care (LTC) focuses on ongoing care for residents with chronic illnesses, disabilities, or age-related conditions. Their responsibilities combine clinical care, supervision, and coordination.
Monitor residents’ physical and mental health, vital signs, and changes in condition
Give medications, injections, IV therapy, and monitor for side effects
Treat pressure ulcers, surgical wounds, and other skin issues
Support conditions like diabetes, heart disease, dementia
Act quickly in medical emergencies (falls, cardiac events, breathing issues)

Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of NC or Compact (in good standing)
