Senior Forklift Operator

The Opportunity We are seeking a high-caliber, career-minded Senior Forklift Operator for a permanent position within a premier manufacturing and logistics facility. What We’re Looking For

• Proven Tenure: A history of long-term employment in warehouse or manufacturing settings. We are looking for "stayers," not "jumpers."

• Expertise: 3–5+ years of consistent forklift experience. You should be comfortable with specialized attachments or high-rack stacking (30+ feet).

• Technical Literacy: Proficiency with WMS software and digital inventory tracking.

• Reliability: A "no-excuses" approach to attendance and punctuality.

• Certification: Current OSHA-compliant forklift certification is required.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do (Senior Level Responsibilities)

• Advanced Material Handling: Expertly operate various lift trucks (Sit-down, Stand-up Reach, or Cherry Picker) to move high-value inventory in tight-tolerance environments.

• Inventory Mastery: Utilize RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to ensure 100% accuracy in stock movement—minimizing discrepancies and "lost" product.

• Safety Stewardship: Lead by example. Perform rigorous pre-shift inspections and identify potential floor hazards before they become incidents.

• Workflow Coordination: Work closely with the Shipping/Receiving and Production teams to prioritize "hot" loads and maintain a steady flow of materials to the line.

• Mentorship: Act as a go-to resource for junior operators, modeling best practices for load stability and equipment care.
