We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Material Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our supply chain operations, ensuring the efficient flow of materials from suppliers to production lines. This position requires a strong understanding of logistics, inventory management and supply chain operations.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to support production needs while minimizing excess stock
• Work closely with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of materials
• Track and analyze material usage patterns, forecast demand, and identify potential supply chain issues
• Maintain accurate records of material transactions, including receipts and inventory adjustments
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste in the material handling process
• Partner with the production team to understand material requirements and resolve any supply chain issues that may impact production schedules
• Ensure that all materials meet quality standards and specifications
• Prepare and present reports on inventory levels, material usage and supplier performance to the Supply Chain Manager

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related field
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain principles is a plus
