Resupply Office Assistant

Concord, NC

Carolina’s Hometown Respiratory is currently seeking a part-time Resupply Office Assistant for our Concord, North Carolina location. In this role, you will perform administrative tasks such as answering phones, transferring calls, making outgoing phone calls, assigning prescriptions, tracking shipments, and scanning documents.

Pay: $15/hour, offer dependent on experience

The right candidate will have:

  • Minimum of ongoing high school education/pre-college courses
  • 1 – 3 months related experience and/or training
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Resupply Office Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Answers and delegates incoming calls from customers.
  • Makes outbound calls to customers, insurance companies, doctor’s offices, order fulfilment centers, and other entities; may also send faxes to these same entities.
  • Reviews and distributes voicemails and emails where appropriate.
  • Reviews and assigns medical documentation to appropriate resupply representatives.
  • Contacts patients for PAP supplies in the occurrence of resupply representative absences as a back-up caller.
  • Enters pre-authorizations, insurance verifications, and various forms of other medical documentation into online software-Truesight.
  • Assists with tasks in online software to assist in reimbursement of health insurance claims.
  • Processes any information, such as authorizations, needed for insurance reimbursement.
  • Utilizes on-line shipping and in-house software to track PAP Resupply shipments and verify delivery.
  • Supports resupply sales representatives wherever else necessary.
  • Uploads delivery confirmation and other documents to Electronic Medical Records
  • Collects documentation for Resupply shipments to initiate billing.
  • Handles envelopes, stamps, letters, and other materials needed to fulfil department initiatives.
  • Makes copies of correspondence or other printed materials.
  • Prepares outgoing mail and correspondence, including email and faxes.​​​​​​​
