Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operators! We are hiring for several amazing employers in the Wilmington area! As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse by efficiently moving, locating, and stacking products. Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport goods within the warehouse.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers with precision and care.
- Ensure proper stacking and storage of products to maximize space and maintain safety.
- Conduct regular inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance needs to supervisors.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist in inventory management by keeping accurate records of materials handled.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid forklift operator certification required.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
