MACHINE OPERATOR | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:

• Location: Mebane NC 27302 – 100% on-site
• Payrate: $20.50/hr
• Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday – Thursday, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM ( Nights )
• • Overtime: Must be available to work overtime as required

MACHINE OPERATOR | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:

The Machine Operator will develop skills in basic manufacturing tasks and procedures. Working within clearly defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), you will ensure quality guidelines are met through routine production steps and manual assembly.

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance

MACHINE OPERATOR | RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Production & Assembly: Manually package kits, pull raw materials for orders, and feed materials onto the production line.
• Machine Operation: Perform setup, startup, and shutdown tasks; clear common machine faults and make minor adjustments to settings.
• Quality & Compliance: Conduct in-process quality checks and inspections; follow and document procedures according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) .
• Maintenance: Perform cleaning functions and maintain a high standard of workplace housekeeping.
• Documentation: Accurately complete all required production paperwork and charts.

MACHINE OPERATOR | REQUIREMENTS :

• Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
• Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days
• 1 year of manufacturing experience .

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Comfortable performing repetitive motions.

Skills & Competencies

• Technical: Basic proficiency with PCs and a Windows environment; ability to perform basic arithmetic and follow simple diagrams.
• Communication: Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking) with the ability to communicate successfully across the department.
• Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and the ability to recognize deviations from specifications.
