Responsibilities
- Commitment to patient safety and high-quality care with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Provide perioperative nursing care for patients before, during, and after surgical procedures
- Maintain a sterile field and follow strict infection control standards
- Prepare the operating room with necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment
- Monitor patient status intraoperatively, responding to changes in condition as needed
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to ensure safe, efficient procedures
- Document patient care accurately in accordance with hospital and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- One year of ICU RN experience required, completed within the last two years.
- Active RN license in the state of practice (or compact state if applicable).
