Job Summary T he Assembly Worker works on the assigned production line following standard operating procedures (SOP) for specific job assignments. Responsibilities include measuring, cutting, and assembling door units, assisting with manual labor tasks, and ensuring quality standards are met. Assemblers may work in Patio Stock, Interior Stock, or Entry Stock areas under immediate supervision. Key Responsibilities Verify materials by reading the bill of materials and ensure they meet quality expectations. Palletize, wrap, and label units as needed. Assemble fabricated parts into large or heavy subassemblies and complete units. Test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications. Follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform job functions. Verify correct component placement per SOP and repeat tasks until door stack is complete. Clean work area at the end of each shift and maintain a safe, organized environment. Operate manual machines and pneumatic equipment such as nail guns, screw guns, routers, tape measures, and squares. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment. Solid verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in assembly. Strong analytical skills and knowledge of door components. Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions (bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling). Ability to read and understand bills of materials. Ability to use a tape measure and perform basic math calculations. Must be able to work in varying weather ad temperature conditions. Preferred Qualifications One to two years of experience in a manufacturing setting. High School Diploma or GED preferred. Certifications Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen. Education: High School
