Litigation Paralegal

A well-established, multi-office law firm is seeking a Civil Litigation Paralegal to join its team in Asheville, NC . - Review and analyze medical records, discovery materials, and case files
- Assist with drafting and responding to discovery requests
- Conduct legal, records, and social media research
- Interview witnesses and document findings
- Summarize depositions, hearings, and complex legal documents
- Prepare case materials for depositions, hearings, and trials
- Draft legal correspondence and other litigation-related documents
- Perform medical record summaries and calculations
- Maintain organized case files and track billable time
- Collaborate with attorneys and team members to meet deadlines
Qualifications
- Paralegal certificate and/or minimum of 2 years of litigation experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook) and internet research
- Experience with PDF software (e.g., Adobe Acrobat or similar)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills xrczosw
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Experience in civil litigation, particularly involving medical records
- Familiarity with document management systems and complex claims
Compensation & Benefits:
- $58,000-70,000

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-5 hybrid schedule in Asheville, NC
