Generative AI Technical Lead

This Generative AI Technical Lead will drive the design, development, and delivery of enterprise AI solutions across our organization. This will sit at the intersection of business and engineering, translating stakeholder pain points into working solutions, rapidly prototyping ideas, and building production-grade AI systems that create real value. The ideal candidate combines deep hands-on technical expertise with the ability to navigate a complex enterprise technology landscape and communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Design, develop, and deploy production-grade AI solutions—including generative AI and agentic AI systems—that address real business needs across the organization

  • Partner closely with business stakeholders to translate pain points and requirements into technical solutions, serving as a bridge between non-technical partners and engineering teams

  • Rapidly prototype and iterate on AI proof-of-concepts, gathering stakeholder feedback to refine solutions before moving to production

  • Architect and implement AI systems leveraging cloud AI platforms (e.g., AWS), agentic frameworks, RAG architectures, vector databases, and LLM orchestration tools

  • Navigate enterprise complexity—including legacy systems, data silos, security constraints, and cross-functional dependencies—to successfully deliver AI solutions at scale

  • Apply strong software engineering practices, including AIOps and production deployment standards, to ensure AI systems are reliable, scalable, and maintainable

  • Lead and mentor technical team members while staying current on emerging AI/ML advancements to continuously evolve the organization's AI capabilities

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering with an understanding of AIOps and production deployment practices.
  • 3+ years of experience in AI Technical Products
  • Experience designing and developing AI solutions (generative AI and/or agentic AI systems).

Preferred Qualification:

  • Experience delivering enterprise production AI solutions and integrating with enterprise tools.
  • Strong AI engineering skills spanning model integration, prompt engineering, orchestration frameworks, evaluation, and productionizing AI systems.
  • A track record of building enterprise AI solutions and successfully navigating the complexity of large organizations—legacy systems, data silos, security constraints, and cross-functional dependencies.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to bridge business needs and technical execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to move fast—building quick POCs and iterating based on feedback.
  • Solid grounding in the broader AI/ML ecosystem and a genuine curiosity that keeps you on top of recent advancements.
  • Experience with major cloud AI platforms like AWS and AI/ML services.
  • Familiarity with agentic frameworks, RAG architectures, vector databases, and LLM orchestration tools.
  • Prior experience leading or mentoring technical teams.

Anticipated Posting End Date:

2026-08-20Base Pay Range: $184,000/yr - $304,000/yr

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
