Residential Concrete/Masonry Area Manager

As an Area Manager for Residential Concrete Field Operations, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all field activities across multiple projects, ensuring that every job meets ARC’s rigorous standards for quality, safety, and client service. Responsibilities
- Oversee all residential concrete field operations across active projects, ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to ARC’s quality standards.
- Establish and maintain quality control standards; conduct regular site reviews and provide feedback to field teams to uphold craftsmanship.
- Coordinate project schedules among superintendents, drivers, and customers, proactively resolving production and coordination challenges.
- Lead, manage, and develop field supervisors, foremen, and crews, including hiring, training, performance management, and crew assignments.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer relationships and on-site issue resolution.
- Monitor job costs and budgets, identifying and addressing pricing or cost challenges as they arise.
- Collaborate with company leadership on staffing, planning, and overall field performance.
- Ensure accurate field reporting, including daily reports, time entries, and production tracking.
- Promote and enforce a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory safety requirements on all jobsites.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in concrete and/or masonry field operations, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership or management role overseeing multiple crews or projects.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple jobsites and field teams simultaneously.
- Experience working with large volume homebuilders is preferred.
- Strong leadership and people development skills, with the ability to coach and hold field supervisors accountable.
- Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with customers, general contractors, and company leadership.
- Highly organized with a strong work ethic.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Eligibility to work in the United States (ARC participates in E-Verify).
