We're looking for a Marketing & Business Development Strategist to join our team and play a pivotal role in identifying and executing strategic growth initiatives.

As our Marketing & Business Development Strategist, you’ll lead efforts across market research, business expansion, lead generation, and brand building — all with the goal of driving sustained growth and long-term success. You will collaborate cross-functionally to shape strategies that align with company goals while exploring new opportunities across products, partnerships, and markets.

Compensation:

$96,500 yearly

Responsibilities:

Strategic Growth Responsibilities

  • Market Research & Analysis: Identify new markets, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to inform high-impact strategic decisions.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute data-informed business strategies that fuel profitability and innovation.
  • Business Expansion: Scout and evaluate opportunities in new geographies, industries, and customer segments.
  • Product/Service Development: Translate market insights into actionable input for internal teams to shape customer-centric offerings.
  • Partnerships & Alliances: Establish strategic partnerships and joint ventures to expand reach and enhance value.
  • Financial Strategy: Identify funding opportunities, grants, and investment avenues to support growth initiatives.

Sales & Lead Generation

  • Lead Generation: Implement systems to attract, qualify, and convert high-potential leads.
  • Client Relationship Building: Cultivate meaningful relationships that drive customer retention and satisfaction.
  • Sales Enablement: Equip sales teams with insights, content, and tools to boost performance.
  • Competitive Analysis: Monitor competitor activity to identify market gaps and points of differentiation.
  • Networking: Represent the company at industry events and in virtual communities to build strategic relationships.

Marketing & Brand Building

  • Brand Strategy: Shape and refine brand positioning to align with target audience expectations.
  • Marketing Campaigns: Lead targeted, multi-channel marketing initiatives that resonate with prospects and customers.
  • Content Creation: Collaborate on thought leadership content, including blog posts, case studies, white papers, and more.
  • Digital Presence: Optimize our website and social media presence to improve visibility and engagement.
  • Campaign Coordination: Ensure alignment between marketing initiatives and business development goals.

Internal Development & Innovation

  • Talent & Culture: Support HR in attracting top-tier talent and boosting team engagement.
  • Operational Efficiency: Identify opportunities for process optimization to enhance company performance.
  • Tech-Forward Thinking: Partner with IT and operations to integrate new tools that streamline business processes and improve customer experiences.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, business development, or strategic growth roles
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and market expansion
  • Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of market research and competitive intelligence
  • Excellent communicator with experience in stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration
  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms, digital marketing tools, and data visualization software a plus
