• Location: Greensboro, NC (zip 27401) – North Carolina healthcare jobs
• Setting: Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Locum Tenens)
• Start Date: September 9, 2025
• End Date: December 9, 2025
• Shift: 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM); every third weekend and holidays as needed
• Hours per Week: 36
• Patient Ratio: 1:6
• Floating: Required between all hospital campuses
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1680-$1730

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care inpatient rehab RN experience (no first-time travelers)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – North Carolina or compact state
• BLS certification required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Previous travel RN experience required
• Must pass EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts allowed)
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Education verification through third party required
• No local candidates accepted (must reside outside 50-mile radius)

Rehabilitation Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized nursing care for patients with CVA, TBI, ABI, spinal cord injury, neurological diagnoses, and generalized debility
• Perform medication reconciliation, monitor vital signs, conduct dressing changes, and provide wound care
• Manage feeding tubes, ports, mechanical ventilation, and assistive/adaptive devices
• Conduct patient teaching, fall risk assessments, and infection prevention protocols
• Interpret laboratory results and complete comprehensive patient health questionnaires
• Float to other units and hospital campuses as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, and social services
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, including punctuality and attendance
